Position Overview

This is an opportunity to take ownership of a diverse family law caseload while continuing to grow as a litigator. You’ll gain meaningful courtroom experience, work alongside respected attorneys, and have the autonomy to manage cases from consultation through resolution.

We’re seeking an attorney with 5+ years of litigation experience, confidence in the courtroom, and a strong understanding of Michigan court procedures and the Michigan Rules of Evidence. You’ll have the independence to lead your cases while being supported by a collaborative team that is invested in your long-term success.

How You Will Make a Difference

Independently manage a full caseload of family law matters from intake through resolution.
Represent clients at hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials, both in person and virtually.
Meet with clients and prospective clients to evaluate legal needs and provide strategic legal guidance.
Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, briefs, settlement agreements, and judgments with accuracy and efficiency.
Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation, exhibit organization, and examination strategy.
Negotiate settlements while advocating for your clients’ long-term interests.
Develop thoughtful, ethical, and cost-effective litigation strategies.
Conduct legal research and analysis to strengthen case outcomes.

Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan and an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan.
Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience required; family law litigation experience preferred.
