Olivia Richards

Paralegal

Olivia brings a diverse background in law, leadership, and community involvement to her work. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in Juvenile Justice from Grand Valley State University in 2014, and her Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University – Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2020.

Earlier in her career, Olivia lived and worked in Salem, Oregon, where she assisted judges at the courthouse on criminal, probate, and family law matters. She has also given back to her community through mentoring with the PALS program at Grand Valley State University.

She has a strong passion for animal law and environmental law and is eager to continue expanding her knowledge and advocacy in these areas. Olivia currently resides in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she enjoys staying active through yoga, hiking, kayaking, biking, camping, gardening, bouldering, and rock climbing. Outside of her professional pursuits, she is publishing her own poetry book. Olivia is also a proud dog mom to her Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler), Leonardo.
