Rachel Melville

Paralegal

Rachel Melville is a Muskegon native who brings a strong background in law, education, and community engagement to her work at Tabono Law. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, her MFA from Naropa University, and her Juris Doctor from Cooley Law School.

Before joining Tabono Law, Rachel gained valuable legal experience with the Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office and Smith Attorneys Group. She also served as a professor at Muskegon Community College and Baker College, where she supported students through higher education and professional development.

Rachel remains actively involved in the Muskegon community. She has served on the Social Justice Commission and currently facilitates “Frankly Speaking,” a bi-monthly community conversation focused on meaningful dialogue and connection.

Outside of her professional work, Rachel is a proud parent of two older children and enjoys exploring new hobbies in her free time.
